Most of us have great memories associated with certain books or movies. Often it's children's books which are most-loved because we read them as children, then to our own children, our grand children and maybe even our great grand children. Such is the enduring nature of the best children's authors. So there are layers of memories which are relevant throughout our lives and become associated with family of all ages.
Movies and actors differ in so far as there are so many memorable characters and performances. Whilst we all have our particular favourites, almost everyone watch and enjoys movies throughout our lives.
